Loyalty to Tradition

Steadfast Barber Shop is a full service traditional barber shop inspired by the golden age of early 20th century barbering with a focus on providing both classic and modern styles. Whether you're after the perfect flat top, a fade, a pompadour or just a hot towel straight razor shave, we're your shop. Historically, barber shops were known as sort of a community hub, a place for men to go to fraternize with their peers, discuss the day's news, and simply escape to a familiar, inviting environment on a regular basis. We believe strongly in reviving that atmosphere and you won't find hair dye fumes, manicures, or televisions blaring here - just a vintage record player playing the blues, some raucous discussion, and a barber who knows your name and regular cut when you walk in. The way it should be.

Howie Miura

Barber/Owner

Howie is a favorite of both young and old shop patrons, recognizable for his tattoos, but revered for his easygoing and patient nature, especially with kids. He started barbering in 2000, gaining experience in several shops including a 9 year stint at the historic Ganzel's Barber Shop in Richland. Before that he spent two years honing the art of fast precision at the McChord Air Force Base barber shop. He's been known to make housecalls when his long time clients have become too ill to make it to the shop and volunteers his skills every month at the Tri City Union Gospel Men's Mission for the homeless.  He opened Steadfast in April 2014.

Dale Selch

Barber

Dale is an incredibly talented barber who not only has 36 years of experience, but owned the Bus Barber Shop in West Richland for 10 years and has been a barber instructor for Paul Mitchell as well as other schools. He's an accomplished musician and all around great guy with some great stories to share. Dale might also try to talk you into trying out his own signature hairstyle, but we don't recommend it.
